He had found that he kinda liked this place too... it was pretty homely and comfortable and he didn;t feel out of place here- or out of pocket. He made his way upto the counter and got a coffee and a plate of cookies, which were almost as good as the ones Lacey had baked the other week- which had started his cookie fad. He looked pretty strange, a hard looking black guy with a stack of cookies, but he didn;t care much- he dared anyone to say anything about it. He turned away fromt he counter after paying and let his gaze drift around for an empty table, pleasently suprised to see her sat at a one of the couches. He headed over and dropped down easily next to her, setting his plate of cookies on the coffee stable. "Pretty girl like you here all alone sugar?" Rio flashed her that boyish grin that it seemed only she could get out of him, she gave some point and direction to his previously wasted life... and he was doing what he could to make her proud of him- to give her something solid and good in her life. The truth was if it hadn;t been for the support they had given each other- all of them- Joey and Jason, even Nina and Lysia, when she was alive- If it hadn;t been for all of them, they would hall have crumbled by now. He was so proud of how she was becoming the confident vibrant girl he knew she was... she was really making progress and it made his day to see her looking so happy and healthy "Yeah I'm turning into your regular coffee shop type... next I'll be the one carrying books aorund with me" He winked playfully, smirking a little- they both knew what would never happen.
