Nina had suprised herself recently... she'd been putting a lot of effort into being mature and responsible, and had even taken Jackie under her wing, and was finding herself controlling her flighty latina temper much better. She had been working towards her GED as well as working two jobs, which - what with his job as well- didn;t give them a huge amount of time together... it certainly made her value the time she did get with him though. She was just getting home from working at the diner when he called, and as his name flashed on the screen of her cell, a slight smile tugged at her lips, and she answered the phone.
