The paper had bored him in very little time. As much as he liked to know what was going on, he kind of got aggravated easily about stuff. The little things about laws and whatnot would piss him off and the big things like war and politics stressed him out. He had enough to worry about here in his own little bubble of existence then to worry about the way that the dogs were being treated during the elections in Iraq. So, instead of the paper he had taken to people watching but that quickly got tiring so he had just lit up another cigarette, tossed his sneaker clad feet up onto the chair across from him and closed his eyes, half asleep, a quarter thinking about his girl and a quarter thinking about his twin who he hadn't talked to, really talked to, in god knew how long. Occasionally his mind would wander to some of the other members of his 'family' like Jackie and Rio but mostly it was just his girl and his twin, the way that it normally was. Jason was on his mind a lot because the man was a quarter of his other half, as strange as it sounded, if Jason wasn't around he wouldn't be able to function properly and honestly he thought maybe that was why he'd been a bit stressed lately was because he hadn't talked and hung out with his brother enough. Nina was on his mind because she was the other quarter of his other half...if that made sense to anyone but him. She finished him up, made him who he was and made him able to get through his days with the promise of her being in his bed at night. Not that he was just in it for the sex because hell, he'd been with her for eight months and 27 days before they'd had sex. Not that he was counting or anything, he just...paid close attention to the calendar for no particular reason sometimes. No, he just liked knowing she would be there and he could hold her, or touch her or she would hold him...it was just the fact that she was there for him, waiting, at the end of the day that really got to him. Plus, he just adored her personality. It was no secret to him that he was falling for her, he had told her that though the actual "L" word hadn't been uttered, but maybe it was time for that...He nearly jumped when she kissed him on the cheek but then laughed and circled her wrist with his fingers, tugging her back to him so he could brush his lips across hers. "Hey beautiful..." He murmured, his eyes moving over her appreciatively. "Um, how about a coffee? Black?" He was a simple guy really....and he had no qualms with letting his girlfriend pay for a cup of coffee for him either!
