He laughed gently and nodded a little, then dropped a hand to her knee and gave it a reassuring squeeze. At her mention of a transfer, he cocked a brow and looked over to her again. "Where'd you want to transfer to?" Complications were always frustrating, but he wouldn't be too disappointed if she ended up sticking around here. Even if he only saw her every once in a while, well he didn't have a whole lot of friends, and also - she had bailed him out a couple times, when he'd missed a rent payment or they'd shut off his electricity. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Me and dirt - we don't get a long too well... But I'm sure there's something else I could be doing that would actually allow me to do more than just squeak by."
