*She utterly ignores the mare's taunts, always staying facing her, never exposed, the smile never leaving her face. At the first touch of the mare's teeth on her neck, she twists sharply to one side, sustaining a raw scrape instead of a bite. She does not meet the mare's rear, instead choosing to bite at the mare's exposed chest, avoiding the lashing hooves*
