*his gaze travels to Sundancer, as his mate and children group around him. He thinks of the mares he's seen his alpah with in the past. And now he thinks, loyally, of the mare he loves, that she is Sundancer's queen. But then he, too, realizes that she can never be Sundancer's true mate, that she will mother more of his children. He snorts, passing sundancer from his mind finally and turning his full attention back to Rashik.*I- I'm not sure what to say, Rashik.*he says, his voice barely a whisper.*I have- feelings for you.*
