She lies down in a corner of the territory, afraid to come any closer to these strong happy horses. Her bones show plainy through her once glossy hide, and gashes cover her body. Her stallion on the main land had abused his mares horribly, and she was the only one left to escape and try to find a better life. But could she? She watches the stallion here warily, in case he is the same.
