the facts.

FACTS. These are what really happened, contrary to reports. There was really no plan to speak up when Lara was �pulled out� of Wowowee last Thursday (May 15, 2008). We promised not to say anything as long as no lies will come out from their side. But false, irresponsible articles and rumors started spreading on the Internet, in local tabloids and even in the much read broadsheets. So here are the facts, basing the defense from the written articles that came out. Here is the real score.

� There was no written rule or even a rule at all about bringing a boyfriend or a companion to Hawaii. Lara asked one of the production staff before leaving if they were indeed not allowed to bring anyone along. She was told that it was okay as long as it will not affect her work and as long as they just won�t be seen �til after the show. Lara�s Mom and boyfriend (who both accompanied her to Hawaii, contrary to false, irresponsible articles that it was only her boyfriend who was there) was never seen until the day they were to leave for the airport to the Philippines. They did not even watch the show at Aloha stadium. They did not accompany her at rehearsals, press cons, radio and tv tours. Nowhere. Lara never missed a rehearsal, meeting, press-con or any activity. She was never late or in a hurry to leave rehearsals or go back to the hotel.

� Lara�s mother and boyfriend, paid for their own airfare, arranged their travel papers on their own. The production was never involved with their travel arrangements in anyway. The artists, specifically the co-hosts were not given �plus ones�. It�s up to them if they want to bring a companion, as long as they pay for their own expenses.

� Lara�s boyfriend has never been seen in the studio, has never watched an Episode of Wowowee live, has never loitered inside the female co-hosts dressing room. Guards are stationed at the doors of the dressing rooms and no males are allowed to go in. Not even Lara�s little brother was allowed to stay inside.

� Lara never declared these statement: �You can cancel my ticket if you want to! Kung hindi pwede isama ang boyfriend!�

� In Hawaii, Lara did what she had to do. She gave her best in her work. She was never late for any event, be it rehearsals, press-cons, TV-guesting. She was never in a hurry to leave and go back to the hotel.

� She was never in a hurry to leave rehearsals or work except when she has to leave AFTER WORK to run to another commitment.

� Lara�s rumored �attitude and pagmamaldita�

o In That�s My Doc- about her do�s and don�t�s. Watch an episode of it and find out for yourself if it is true that she doesn�t let the leading man, kiss, hold her hand or hug her. And the production staff and Executive producer of the show can confirm that she is always punctual, cooperative, never complaining. As how she is at her other commitments, guestings and projects.

o (In Bb. Pilipinas ) The Headache Lara gave to Bb. Pilipinas was exercising her right to not pose for an Alcholic Beverage Calendar Poster which they had commited her to without her consent or knowledge.

Precious Lara Quigaman was axed by Willie Revillame not by the production staff because she �apparently� violated an unwritten rule (a rule�s not a rule unless it�s written) of bringing a companion to the out of country show.
