This is truly the "chance of a lifetime" for all young women between the ages of 17 and 24 who live, work or attend school full time anyplace in the entire state of New Mexico! No pageant experience is necessary. Contestants must be single, never married. Scoring is based on a panel-style Personal Interview; Swimsuit Competition; Talent Presentation; and Evening Gown.

A $10,000 CASH scholarship is guaranteed to the winner of the Miss Rio Rancho Scholarship Pageant (an official Miss New Mexico/Miss America local preliminary), Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Santa Ana Star Casino.

The current Miss New Mexico, Jenny Marlowe, 22, of Albuquerque and a University of New Mexico (UNM) graduate will not lony entertain but will also crown the new titleholder.
