This land rests upon the slopes of a lush dark mountain, forest covering it's sides before suddenly going bare and snowy at it's perilous peak. As it's name implies, the mountain is a frequent source of fierce storms, especially at the winter thaw when the numerous springs running down the slopes are swelled into raging rivers, often tipping off rock or mudslides. Small, lush havens are dotted throughout the range, but the paths are dangerous and often steep. Snowstorms prove harsh and often fatal in winter, but temporary protection may be found in the caves and further down the mountain sides.
