the Board of Education recognized both of them as conference champs and they are the ones who make the awards. there were others who were co-champs of their conferences.

Lane was not a #1 seed in anything, they were a #5-6 seed in the public league playoffs Crane #1 and a #3 seed in the sectional playoffs.

buying a hat/t-shirt/cup etc is ok, but that does not mean they were a #1 seed.

the tie breaker for the seeding in the playoffs does go to the team who wins the second round game, but that doesnt determine the conference champs, the team records do.

I hope this clears this up once and for all.

Lane is still a good team!
