The Benton Invitational Tournament is a great tournament, but Nashville is not part of it. It is a round robin format consisting of the following teams: Benton, Cairo, McLeansboro (Hamilton County now), Okawville, Carlyle and Pinckneyville. All pretty small towns but all have some hardware and there are several championship trophies from these teams. Oh yeah, and at least three former NBA players too.

These same teams have been in this tournament for many years.
