For those of you that love (or hate) Shaun Pruitt's game, he has a unique chance to play against some of the best teams throughout the state. So time will tell how good he can/will be this season. Let's hope he gets/stays healthy so we can all have a fair assessment.

Here's a link to the WA boys bb schedule and some "Marquee" games below:

http://www.sd129.org/athletics/Winter%20Pages/boys.bb.htm

Marquee games are:
11/29/03 @Rock Island vs RI (Thxgiving Championship)
12/11/03 @KMOX/StL - Hazelwood Central (K.Grimes)
12/20/03 @Home - East Aurora (100 yr old rivalry)
12/29-31/03 @Pontiac - Niles W., Simeon, St. Joes, OPRF, Joliet, Lockport, Peoria Manual (all good teams)
01/19/04 @Peoria/MLK Shootout - Limestone (State Contender w/DeAaron Williams - Wisconsin)
02/21/04 @Northwestern - Peoria Cntrl (S.Livingston - Game of year in IL!)

No one can say that Pruitt/WA play's a weak or soft schedule. They only have 8 regular season home games all year! Although the DVC is not considered a very strong bb conference, all teams are well coached, have great fans and facilities and road games are tough (ALL games sell out). WA was undefeated in conf last year (escaped a couple of tough roadies) but in recent years w/highly rated teams have been upset in conference.

With this schedule everyone will clearly see how good/tough SP is by next March.
