The Schmidt brothers picked SP 1st team all state after last season - way before he chose ILL - which will have nothing to do w/it either way - he was there regardless.

To all the haters - try as you may - but there are not 5 better players in IL. Before his injury SP was by far the best Jr. at last year's HSE top 50 jr showcase - bringing home MVP (over Livingston, Price, Williams, Cerasoli, Verniesel, etc.). Now that he can dedicate time to the weight room to regain the leg strenght he lost from an injury that wiped out almost his entire Jr. season - there is no doubt SP will be back to MVP form in 03-04.

This is not stalking, ass kissing, "hatin" other players (which is complete bull - SP supporters have given credit to other "good to great" players in the state (including Ellis whom all the SP haters seem to sweat so much) - just fact! SP will be completely back (to MVP form) by the season.

For now we'll just sit back and let you haters bitch - but come season - we'll let West Aurora's tough non-conference schedule (one of the state's toughest) do the talking and SP do the leading - along w/JC and JT.
