Of course she was the highest vote getter. Voters were throwing the D's out of office and she was the only one on the R side that had been elected before. Had nothing to do with popularity, but was anti status quo. No doubt her name is known, but ask peple what she has accomplished. If she keeps running the kind of campaign she has been, telling lies, and going negative, it will much easier for Nyce to win. Remember Nyce is the guy that beat a sitting, popular state rep with no party support at all.In fact it was a State Rep the state party had tried to defeat several times. Nyce did it on his own. He knows how to get a message out, he is highly qualified, and there is no reason he can't do it again especially against someone as uninspiring as Ferraro.
