No it's not a new Sci-Fi flick by Steven Speilberg. It's what has happened to me yesterday and a couple a years back.
Last attack was minor they bit the heck our of my left ring finger. Could it be an omen? That attack was not as bad as the one got back in 2003.

A friend of mine needed some t.v. cable ran under her house and I volunteered my expertise. (Not to mention my profanity and frustration.) It was warm out that day but hot under the house. While I was running the cable and thinking to myself, "Self there better not be any water moccasins under here." I unwittingly crawled into a fire ant hill. They were not pleased to have such a large uninvited guest so they did a thourogh job of running me out from under the house. On the lighter side I did an almost perfect remdemption of the traditional Fire Ant Dance. Most people thought that I had lost my mind though.

Anyway does anyone know a sure "fire" way to get the fire ant bite burn out of my poor widdle finger?

PL&H
Da Mayor.

[> Subject: I don't know which is worse Fire Ant bites or spider bites but maybe this will help you The discomfort of many insect bites can be soothed by an ice cube, a cold washcloth, calamine lotion, a paste of baking soda, or an over-the-counter hydrocortisone ointment
