(((((Slither))))) I am deeply sorry to learn of the loss of your father. You will find it to be one of the most painful episodes in your whole life. I lost both my parents in the early 90's and still miss them with all my heart to this very day. However, a dear friend gave me the attached poem which I keep on my refrigerator attached to my parents' funeral home remembrance cards. In time, you may find it will bring great comfort to you.

THE ROSE BEYOND THE WALL
A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall
and as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches straight and tall.

One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide.
The Rose bent gently toward its warmth,
then passed beyond to the other side.

Now, you who deeply feel its loss
be comforted; the rose blooms there.
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving care.
