Subject: Hawkins Award Important from TA Author: momcop [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 18:49:23 04/18/04 Sun Hi TA Teamies :) This is being sent out through the Acro Council as well as the TA Members group. In January we voted to bring the following award into TA. Below is an explanation of the award and how its recipient will be selected. It will be in honor of the founder of Team Acro. Without Hawkins pursuing his dream to form Team Acro, we wouldn't have this fine league now. The new award will be called the Hawkins award. The winner can be anyone who is a member of TA. The selection process will be based on nominations from TA members, then a vote by all TA members. The criteria for this award are as follows. The person that goes the extra mile to help a team in trouble whether it be to sub for a team or play for them to help keep the team afloat. The person that participates in Team Acro events whether it be play or TD in a tournament or judge a website competition. . The person who submits new ideas to help the growth of Team Acro. The person who recruits new players to join Team Acro. All of these fine qualities in a team member would make them eligible to be nominated for the Hawkins award. The voting will be done quarterly and is open to every team member. Please take the above qualifications and submit who you think should be the first recipient of the "Hawkins" award.
