Hi Everyone,

I have been working on getting the lowest price group rates I can from motels
that are within walking distances to most of the shows, shopping and restrauants.
The prices I came up with are from 45.00 + tax per night to 70.00 + tax per night.
I have contacted 8 motels on the strip. Two offered me the rate of 45.00 + tax
the rooms are with 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed. One of the motels have a Jacuzzi
Suite but they don't offer discount on those rooms :(

One thing I did find which I pretty much knew alread June is the starting of a very
busy tourist season and several of the motels I checked with are already booked
up for the days that we want.

I might could find some motels off the strip but not everyone will be driving
and for those of you that haven't been to Branson before the traffic on the
strip is horrendous at time. It's taken people as much as a hour to go 4 miles.
If you've been to Branson and know the back roads the traffic isn't so bad...LOL

I do know that if we want to lock in these rates I am going to have to block the amount of rooms we are going to need and the type of room. I also will have to put up a
deposit to hold these rooms. So if you plan on coming I need you to fill out the
questionaire we have on the website at www.geocities.com/acrobash2004 so I will
have a idea of how many rooms I need to have blocked. I know its a little early for some of you to make a definate commitment on the questionair part we have Yes, No and Maybe on it for you to check.

Here are the websites of two of the motels I am considering. They both are real nice motels. www.1stinngold.com and www.MelodyLaneInn.com
Please pass this info on to others that play acro as well.

I am getting pretty excited about this. I know Branson will never be the same after having us Acro Players here.
