Subject: .owen smirked ever-so-slightly at her touch. "Don't worry 'bout it... You can add another label to me, aside from 'really good drinking partner' and 'protector'... I can now be 'cheerer-upper' too..." It was weird -- y'know, cuz' normally.. this perticular boi would have preferred a different girl's touch the next night, 'stead of the same girl... But, then again, everything was different with this girl, everything had always been different. The bartender seemed to be going a little too slow, and at the moment -- even with Owen's light attitude, it pissed him off. Bartendar's always served the girls quicker, he knew from experience. Grumbling something neath his breath he took his place 'pon a stool, drumming his digits over the counter's surface -- this better not take the damned bartender forever, or fists would fly.
In reply to: Erica 's message, "Gives a faint smile towards him, leaning forward towards Owen a bit as the 'tender was tending the drinks. Her lips tenderly touch his before she pulls away, "Thanks for everything.. I'm sorry if I'm down, I jus' hate disappointing people.." You could say that again.. The girl had danced her li'l heart out from age three because her mother insisted upon it.. She'd been the loudest and most perfect cheerleader, the prettiest and nicest girl in her class.. And she remained smiling when her dad got the liver cancer and she had to become the parent of the family.. Yeah it pretty nearly broke her heart whenever she knew she'd done something to harm another.. She didn't regret any decisions she ever made, she didn't look back to the past to change it.." on 03:51:32 01/14/03 Tue
