it's a brand new day
it's a second chance
Natalie Vodianova wasn't exactly loved. By the preacher's view, she had sinned. Sinned not only once, but an uncountable number. Drugs, sex, lies, stealing, gambling, alcohol- there was nothing she hadn't done before. Her mother had been a raging alcoholic while her father was a high school drop-out druggie. When she was younger, she never really thought much of it. She loved her parents and that was that. But as she grew and matured, she realized that they were no walk in the park. They were brutal to her, showing absolutely no mercy. When she had turned seventeen she left home, hitch-hiking from Utah all the way to the rich and famous Las Vegas, Nevada. Now nearly twenty years old, Natalie Vodianova tried to recollect her life and gain what was once lost; love, friendship, compassion, affection. She was no rich bitch queen living the high life. She had lived in a small apartment building merely five minutes away from the core of Las Vegas. She didn’t intend to go to collage just yet, so she had spent her time working in a nightclub; or ditching it. She knew the manager quite well, and he knew her situation, so she basically got away with murder there.
Natalie craved adventure and changes. She never stayed in one place for too long. She was always moving, always meeting new people and she always had a good story to tell about it all. Almost all of the men she had ever been with had used her or had a one night stand. Heh. And such was life. Natalie was strong. She would get over it and live about her life. It didn’t bother her much anymore. She was used to it, and now she was already looking for a new man; or at least a friend. She was new to this place, only having arrived here in Realistic Dreams a week or so ago. Already she was settled in, and she was now looking forward to checking out the local bars and such to find a new job.
Natalie parked her bright red porsche in front of the bar. I guess that’s one good advantage to knowing wealthy people in Vegas, she had later thought. She wore a tight white spaghetti strapped tank top that revealed her midriff, and light blue jeans with small holes in the knees. She smirked lightly as she locked her car door and looked up to the entrance of the bar. She hadn’t even made her way to the lodge yet. This would be her first stop in the new city. Figures; bars and nightclubs were her favorite place to be- there was music, dancing, flirting, people meeting people and so on. Such was Natalie’s favorite things.
She stuffed a few bills in her pocket before entering the building. Lights were flashing, music was playing, and people were dancing. An overconfident smile spread across her dainty lips as she tossed aside her blonde hair and sat down upon one of the swirling stools. She ordered a glass of Tequila, and while she waited she spun her chair to the side to look out amongst the tangled crowds.
