Subject: The one and only was up in his office - there was paperwork to do and paperwork to review and so much to take care of, but instead he was standing at the window watching her with a quiet smile. He still hated her working out there, but it was too much for him to be fighting with her about it all the time, so he could handle it as long as he was around. Lingering there for a long while, he then glanced to the clock and headed downstairs - pausing to lock the office. The moment he hit the floor, anyone who noticed him and knew him smiled and had a few words for him, and anyone who didn't atleast knew who he was and so just watched casually as he sidled up to the bar and called out to her. "Hey, hotshot, pass me a beer."

Oh, thinkin' about our younger years
There was only you and me
We were young and wild and free
Now nothing can take you away from me
We've been down that road before
That's over now
You keep comin' back for more

  • "Beer's are boring, have something complicated so I can get people yelling and clapping while I make it." She grinned, tossing her towel to Jimmy before she headed down the bar to where her husband was after grabbing him a beer. Leaning over the bar, she pressed a soft kiss to his lips before she settled back on the other side, her elbows resting on the bar, hands folded in front of him. "Are you procrastinating, love?" She questioned, cocking a brow as she tilted her head. The way they acted now, you would never have thought that they had such a rough relationship - the only remnant of it was the thin scar above her lip... (NT) -- Jasmine, 09:44:49 10/29/04 Fri
