Subject: To say that she had been unimpressed with her husband when he called the bar and told Jimmy - of all people, didn't even as for her the owner of the bar - to have her bring in the books for him to look over would be the understatement of the century. She was pretty much livid and just to make herself feel better she had changed clothes from the more professional style she had been wearing when she left the house to a definitely more risque look but she was planning on 'tending later that night anyways so she would have to look good. She even had on a pair of 'good ass' pants on. With a wave and a smile at a few regulars, she headed up the stairs and pushed through the door, dropping the heavy books on his desk as she pursed her lips. "It really couldn't have waited until tomorrow?" She questioned, her brow raised.

Fallin’ asleep at the wheel again baby
You’re driftin’ over the line
You’re hands are tight but you’re losin’ grip quickly
Fix me
Can you read the signs?

  • He was definitely feeling confrontational that day, and then talking to Jimmy on the phone hadn't cooled him off any, and now sitting here plugging away at his own paperwork wasn't helping in the least. There was a part of him that was almost thankful when she stormed in - sure to find the fight he was craving, as terrible as that was. "No, actually, it really couldn't have." He probably wouldn't get to it any way that night, at the rate he was working at, but it was the principle of the matter - he was supposed to be doing the bookkeeping thing that night, which meant he needed her stuff there just in case he happened to get a chance to go through it. "I don't see why it's such a bother anyway." He cocked a brow and leaned back in his chair, dropping his pen on the desk - in that passive-aggressive manner he could have.
