Subject: "Why is it a bother?!" She questioned, her voice raising incredously. "For one thing, it's supposedly my bar, since you hate it so much, and yet you insist on double checking my books. That's a bother, Lucas." She stated, her arms crossing. "..and, I should be at my own place right now, watching over things, possibly 'tending and instead I am going to have sit around here and wait for you to make sure I didn't make any boo boo's because I need those books back tonight. Thats why this is a bother." She frowned, her thumbs hooking into her pockets, her stomach still flat and toned with only the faintest hint of stretch marks marring the skin from carrying his two children.

Fallin’ asleep at the wheel again baby
You’re driftin’ over the line
You’re hands are tight but you’re losin’ grip quickly
Fix me
Can you read the signs?

  • "I just need to get an idea of what's going on." He protested matter-of-factly - and shrugged a little, as if there was no real reason to question his motives otherwise. "You have plenty of competent help to keep an eye on things - Jimmy's there, isn't he?" He couldn't help the sneer that curled the corner of one lip when he spoke the other man's name. He didn't even bother trying to hide his disdain. He also took great pleasure in the fact that he and Jas were owners of the clubs - and that Jimmy was merely a staffer. In her anger, his wife had neglected to close the door to his office, and his gaze drifted out to the stairs - as if he couldn't be bothered to devote his full attention to the issues at hand. He just couldn't resist letting his attention wander - hoping that maybe some one would come up with something interesting to tell him. (NT) -- Lucas, 09:03:27 09/07/06 Thu
