Subject: The way his shoulders dropped a little and the way his eyes seemed to lose that angry spark made her heart drop and tears spring to her eyes. Shaking her head, she took a ragged breath and clenched her jaw to fight the tears when she spoke. "Don't bother. I'll get my stuff and be out of there before you get back from work." With a low growl, he ran both hands quickly through his hair and then down his face - uncaring about the curious passers-by who had been listening to the exchange as if it was for their entertainment. Finally, he just tore himself off of the patch of pavement he was standing on and headed back towards where Cameron was parked. His friend had gotten tired of waiting inside the car and was now leaning on the outside - having watched the fight from afar, he probably didn't hear much, but really didn't need to to know how it all had gone. Their marriage was definitely a messy situation. (NT) -- Lucas, 11:29:39 09/08/06 Fri
