His life as he knew it was over... He pushed frantically through the crowds gathered on the streets outside - darkened panicky gaze riveted on the flames engulfing his beloved nightclub and the firefighters attempting to stop the blazes. Colorful curses and orders flew from his lips, 'Call Jasmine' among them, as he paced - demanding to talk to someone who knew what was going on and struggling to get past the crowd-control officers designated to keep the sea of gawking onlookers out of harm's way. He was helpless to save his most prized posession, able eventually only to stand back - arms crossed over his chest, figure tensed and trembling - and watch as his world crumbled before his eyes...

The news had come to her while she was at home, in the form of a frantic phone call that provided no real details. Worry lined her pretty face, she didn't know anything of what was going on, and for a moment - when she saw the club - she was just in shock. Now however she was questioning everyone she saw to find out where Luc was, and if he was ok..they hadn't told her if he was inside when the fire started...nothing. He had felt so ill earlier that he had come close to getting sick, and even now he was still trembling. "That was my life, Jasmine..." Before her, it had been his number one reason for living, then had fallen to a close second when he had begun to fall for her. Loving the club was, strangely, like losing a best friend.
