Hi Har-Bal,
Will it be possible to support 32-bit normalized float (type3) in the future? I do all wave editing in Cool Edit 2.1 (now Adobe Audition 1.0) at above mentioned resolution.
At present Har-Bal doesn't seem to support this. The work around for now is to dither down to 24-bit packed int(type1,24 bit). This creates extra work when editing alot of
files per session. I also have had problems with 88.2k sample rate. The good news is,when working with 24 bit 44.1k
files, the results with Har-Bal is stunning. I took a finished master of a song and Har-Balanced it. The individual parts now seem to have there own space.
I am a believer in Har-Bal!
Please keep up the good work.
Hoot
