Har-Bal does it's processing on PCM wave files (wav or aiff format). You'll need to save your work to file and open in in Har-Bal.

Then create an EQ filter to "harbalize" your track by adjusting the spectrum with the gain cursor/tool and preview the result of the filter with the play button (with the EQ button in).

When satisfied with the filter you can save it for posterity and use it to render/record the EQ'd file by pressing the record button. The track is rendered to the same file name appended with "_EQ".
