• She whimpers quietly as another contraction comes. At times like these she was glad that O was so angry looking. The nurse glances to the man who had just entered, then signing she types a few keys on the keyboard. "room 233" Glancing around she doesn't see a nurse- and seeing the mans state she decided to taken them herself. Grabbing a wheelchair she rolls it out for hallie. • She lowered into the wheelchair, giving a slightly nod and a small smile towards him. The receptionist rolls her away. Hallie had never been in a wheelchair before- but that thought didn't exactly come to mind. Once in the room a nurse joins them- helping Hallie into the bed while the receptionist walks back. • +He finishes up quickly, in a hurry to get to her. Noticeing the receptionist had returned he hands her the papers.+ "Here."+ Then quickly stirdes down the hall in search of room 233. Once he finds it he came in and sat down beside her in the chair near her bed, pulling it closer.+ "You oky babe?"+ He asked softly, a slightly worried look on his face. It was too late now though, she was going to have this kid whether he liked it or not.The nurse entered, eyes glance towards the two. • She nods, her hand grips his tighter as a contraction starts then ends. "I don't think the baby's gunna wait for the doctor though" The nurse pulled off the gloves then pressed a button that buzzed the receptionist. She asked to have 2 more nurses sent down. • A light sweat broke out on her forehead. Eyes open and she glances towards him, seeing his worried expression she becomes scare- dispite how much the had reassured her lately. Two other nurses come in to aid the young one in charge. "ok... " the head nurse states after they all put gloves on and washed their hands. "The doctors not going to make it in time- but don't worry" She sat down at the end of the bed and pulled up the covers. • She hated him being worried- he was rarely worried. And him being worried made her worried. "O, you're not helping". Eyes glance towards him, but the nurse interupts them "ok... for 10 seconds, push" Hallie closes her eyes and pushes, her hand gripped Osiris' tight. • She nods silently, taking a few deep breaths. "ok... push now, harder this time" Hallie began again, harder, the same as before the nurse counts to ten. The other nurse gets a cold washcloth and dabs Hal's forehead. "you're doing great" the nurse says encouragingly. Eyes glance between the two. • +He looked at the nurse, his eyes telling her everyting better be all right or he'd be lived. If the lost another child, he didn;t think Hallie would make it, and he wouldn't lose her. he looked back at her.+ "I luv you Hallie..."+It was whispered softly so that only she could hear it. • She was about to reply that she loved him too, but the next contraction hit and she began to push. Her hand grips his tighter then before. Now she just wanted the baby out and this done with- she pushed as hard as she could. The head nurse gives encouraging words. "good job, I can see the baby's head, you're almost there..." • She attempt to catch her breath, the nurse smiles at both of them reasuringly. "ok, one last time, hard as you can" As the last contraction came, Hallie took a deep breath, then pushed as hard as she could- squeezing his hand at the same time. One nurse was holding a towel- a loud cry of a baby sounded through the room. The nurse gathered the baby in a towel and quickly dried it off. Wrapping it in a new towel the head nurse grins "you have a baby girl" she hands the screaming child over to Osiris. (NT) -- Hallie, Sun, Mar 09 2003, 12:21pm PST

• +Startled eyes look at the nurse. He'd never held a baby before in his life. Black eyes look down into the eyes of his daughter who was still screamin as loud as she could. Her skin was a creamy brown colour from the mix of his dark skin and Hallie's white skin. As he looked down at her she staered back at him while crying. he felt something inside him twist and turn, the same feeling he'd had with Idin. • She laughs lightly- releaved to see her baby was ok. The nurses had left for a bit to fillout the nesessary papers. Hallie moved closer, one finger pushs the blanket away from her face. "and your impatience... she didn't even wait for the doctor". Soft motherly eyes watch her baby for a moment before glancing up at Osiris. • +His conversation with Odan was quick as they always were. he then returned to her.+ "Odan says hi..and that Leilani and Juliette willl be happy ta have a cousin ta play with..."+ Leilani and Juliette being Odan's twin daughters, though Odan had this strange habit of calling them Mocha and Chocolate. • +A nurse entered and smiled at them.+ "We just need to take her up stairs now to get her weighed in and do all the noraml everyday things. So if you just give her to me we'll get her all settled in and after you rest,"+ SHe said, indicating Hallie.+ "You can come visit her again if oyu'd like."+ He handed Ebony over to the nurse.+"Her names Ebony Jade."+ He informed quietly.+ "Sweet."+ Replied the nurse before leaving.
