He refused to think that he had given up hope, yet it was getting harder and harder to keep pretending that she was going to wake up one of these days. Rather than sitting at her side as always, he was slouched into a chair by the window, silently watching his sleeping beauty from a distance. Her mother had had an emergency meeting to attend at work so he had opted to skip his morning escape, rather than leave Tash on her own for such a long period of time. As a result - his weary features sported a rough fuzz, and he had a black ballcap pulled down low on his head...
