Almost as soon as she was situated in a bed her water had broke, the delivery progressing sharply. The small whimpers had turned to cries, and soft screams of pain, her young body not quite able to handle the stress and pressure.

She was crying, holding onto his hand, her breath labored. "Oh god..I want this to stop..." She murmured softly, in between contractions. Her eyes went to him, her hand squeezing his softly. He didn't return the words but his concern was calming. She cried out sharply, the pain overbearing suddenly. A doctor frowned, calling out something or other over his shoulder. "What? As if to reinforce the doctor's words, he noticed a couple men in uniforms lingering outside. People all around were stopping to watch but he didn't hardly notice - wanting only to be back at her side, an unintelligible stream of murmurs and growls about his girls.
