Three days of sleep hadn't left her feeling or looking any better... The swelling had lessened a small amount, but the countless bruises that littered her trim figure had blackened to a deep purple. Carefully curled up on the stiff hospital bed with her back to the door, staring blankly out the window through half-opened eyes - her normally dark, playful gaze almost dull - she remains motionless. The doctors were more concered about her emotional condition than her physical - bumps and bruises, even breaks, healed on their own, but she was reluctant to address her experience and had spoken very little since awakening that morning. She had been denied her wish to just go back to sleep - for her own good of course - and so was left even more upset, pouting sullenly.
