She whickers softly, long mane streaming past her shoulders. Her gentle, hazel orbs flicker like the flame of a candle, gently twisting in the wind. Steady ivory hooves strike the ground at an even pace, never choppy. The crimped tendrils of both mane and tail wave gently, seeming to flow endlessly. Nostrils flare, as if searching for someone...yet no one in mind. Her heart sinks, filled with an emptiness...one that can only be fulfilled by true love and passion. Gently, she tosses her elegant head, neck arched beautifully. Each tendril of silk falls into their own little crested ridge, seeming to have each their own home. Streamlined body stands proud, arched with great beauty and poise. She was young, only 3...yet already ready to settle down and find a stallion, one to call her own. A soft nicker is emitted, one of the sweetest sounds to be heard. Positioned perfectly, she lifts a hoof...curling it up. Snorts softly and scans the meadows, eyeing each equine with great interest, knowing each had their own remarkable story...stories she wanted to know. Her own story is that of great dispair and regret...one she never hopes to tell again, yet she knew she would one day have to. Perhaps, when her heart and soul goes out to that one stallion she hopes to meet, he will be told her story. Yet, with all this sadness of her past, and all the hope of her future...she was just like any other young mare, struggling to make her way in the equine world...alone, yet always willing...
