*The snow was gone... warm weather was arriving... Her lean, ragged form shifts uneasily, unhappy with the change in weather, unhappy with the increasingly lonely nights, standing here, away from her home and stallion. Perhaps he was back from wherever he had been... she did not know. Mahogany coat sleek for the promise of spring, she snorts quietly, feeling unwanted, useless. He was gone, but there were reasons... nevertheless he had left her here to watch the icy winter stars alone. She had always wanted to share the sight with him, but now spring has come, the stars have shifted, and it is too late - now she is not entirely sure of anything, especially trust. Trust was not something to be wasted or mistreated... hers had been both. Thinking these bitter thoughts again and again, she steps back into shadow, half hoping he would find her, half hoping he would not.*
