*The bey stallion stood atop the hill and gazed down at the valley below. the sun was setting peacefully and filled the valley with a warm golden glow that streached from all corners, untill it reached the mountains in the distance. A cool wind blew from the stream, strengthened by the dying sun and the stallion shivered lightly from it's chill. He smiled lightly, deep in thought as his chocolate and black mane blew in the light breeze. He ears flickerd at the pre-night noises, a cricket here, a lonesome bird there, all setteling down for the night.
~The chestnut mare walked quietly up behind her stallion and stood a few feet behind him on the top of the hill as she followed his gaze. "What are you looking at?" She asked softly, coming to stand next to him. Her coat was highlighted by the setting sun and shone more gold than copper. Her brown eyes were warm and kind, her red forlock falling over then slightly, giving her a gentle look about her. She stood close to her stallion, for warmth as well as a sense of comfort.
*"Nothing really" He replyed. "Just the valley and the sun." He turned and gave his mare a simple smile and touched her neck with his nose gently, a sort of soft kiss. "What brings you up here when the others are down grazing? I though you would be tired after our journey?"
~She smiled and closed her eyes gently, leaning her head so that is rested just under his. "Oh, I was just bored."
*He gave her a look with a half smile. "Oh? and here I felt needed for a moment" He smiled and nuzzled her to show he ment it as a joke. "Aren't you cold?"
~"No, should I be?" She asked gently, looking up at him and standing straigt once more.
*"No, I just though you might be, with the sun going down. I know this is a big change from the desert we came from and I want to make sure you are ok."
~She smiled and nuzzled him gently. "Always so consiterate. Always thinking of others, that's what I love about you, Image, along with your good looks and calm nature."
*He smiled and was glade the finaly dark sky coverd his slightly embarassed, as well as please, face. "Well, thank you, I'm glad you feel that way." he kissed her gently and stood together on the top of the hill.
