In reply to: ~Anima~ *Terra* +Aqua+ -Ignipoters- 's message, "<<- - - - ->>+++++*****~~~~~The entrance of four mares is heard over the horizon, their thundering hoooves waking the meadow to life~~~~~*****+++++<<- - - - ->> (not: joining messages are looong~ooc)" on 11:18:00 04/16/01 Mon

^The four eleements of
life combine, the elements that no life form could do
without.... Wind, Water, Fire, Earth, all the elements
that make up the great planet upon which every species
stands. All of these basics intertwined with each
other to form one great power.... and now, they split
apart, they break from their large form to become
equines, equines that held up the order of life...
they are the Four Elements.....^

*Nothing more is heard from the forest. Everything at
peace with itself, not a leaf out of place, not a
blade of grass that did not reach to the sky with
courage, unafraid of what it might find in its
lifetime, for everything was worth it for it to be
able to hold just a glimpse of the sunlight. Out of
the tranquility of the forest comes the drumming sound
of hoof beats, their echo making out no more than a
whisper… emerging from the horizon comes a mare, Her
blood bay coat contrasting with the world around her,
though somehow, she was not out of place. Her form
seemed to blend with her atmosphere, allow her to move
through the shadows without notice… her dark mane
flows over her neck, each soft tendril grabbing hold
of her, wishing to stay in its home against her
crested neck, though the shocks caused by her movement
forcing them away. Her tail falls out behind her,
trickling behind like a small creek in the middle of
the forest. Mahogany orbs containing grains like that
on a tree, resembling the wood that was the hue of her
eyes. Her hooves now like onyx hooves, beating over
the ground, though disturbing nothing, even the grass
is untouched by her graceful movements, her mind
careful not to break the chain of life that was around
her. Though the forest seemed as if it were lifeless,
the trees no more than monuments, towers of wood, she
knew it well, spoke to each one… she knew that the
forest was more than that, knew that each thing lived
and breathed as she did. She was part of it, her soul
was part of the forest, and so, she respected it,
moved through it, floating, not touching a single
thing, her respect being for even the smallest of
creatures. It was here that she escaped the hands of
the other equines, her soul cut off from them. Curved
auditives listening to the voices of the earth, each
tiny life form having its own voice, speaking to those
around it. She lets out a gentle sigh, her heart
almost seeming to cry out to anyone who would listen,
unable to speak to those around her. A small,
inaudible whinny emerges from her lips, orbs searching
endlessly for someone… anyone who could end her
lonelines.......*

+There lays the ocean. The deep blue sea filled with
more mysteries than any creature upon the earth could
begin to comprehend. Above the dark depths lies an
almost clear, blue ocean. The waves fly up from the
levelled plains of the water, only to be brought back
down again by the irresistible gravity. They dive into
each other, trillions of particles smashing together
with each other, though no pain is caused to them. The
waves continue their watery dance, some falling
against the sandy shores of the beach, the light foam
that is created resting softly against the shoreline.
Below the surface of the ocean lies the true mystery.
As you descend farther and farther into the dark
waters of the ocean blue, the area explodes with life,
animals live in this dark environment, their features
seeming so hideous to the natural onlooker. However,
the true prospector sees far more than an ugly,
disgusting creature. They look past the clichés that
life has put upon these creatures, and finds the true
beauty within them. The dream of the ocean ends, and
everything comes bubbling back to the surface of the
ocean. Suddenly, the waves part, a path of sand is
created, the animals within the ocean washed to either
side. Life goes on the way it had, only now, a slight
thunder begins to emerge from the ocean…. A flash of
lightning announces the arrival of the mare. Her
palomino coat matching perfectly with the sand on
which she gallops without fear. Her hooves pound
relentlessly against the earth, eyes flashing wildly,
almost a hint of evil in her eyes, an evil that is not
truly contained within her, only exists as an
apparition, a harmless one that frightened those who
were her enemies. As she flows like water, closer and
closer to the shore, her true gift is found in her
eyes. They do not flash with evil, or with light.
Instead, contained within her comprehensive orbs is a
tidal wave, a never ending one, a tsunami whose cycle
continues over and over… a strengthened whinny is
heard as she clears the ocean, riding onto the beach.
The waters emerge back to the centre again, each side
clasping together, uniting once more. She whinnies,
her honeydew mane matted against her neck… auditives
are perched high atop her poll, her dial raised in
confidence. Her heart empty though, wondering if ever
she would find that one, the one who would look past
her exterior, would dive into her heart in search of
her true self… she looks about, her mind focused upon
other things for now, but… somewhere, in a deep corner
of her heart… she wondered… she hoped..... +

Anima
~Everything is still in the land in which all
creatures dwell. Not a breath is taken, not a tree
moves, not a blade of grass trembles underneath the
large world in which it lives. The trees rest in their
stilled position, the birds cease their interactive
chirping. All is still, as if time had released its
hold upon the world, stopped completely, leaving
behind upon the earth nothing more than a single,
picturesque environment that would last forever. But
no, suddenly, out from behind the wilderness, a form
emerges, and with her, she brings a gust of wind, a
breath of fresh air for all creatures to feed upon.
Hooves tremble as they step so lightly over the
well-deserving earth. Their ivory texture licking the
grass beneath, barely touching it, for her form so
light, so barely existent, that she floated upon the
earth. Her body was like the gust of wind upon which
she entered, there for only a moment, available to the
eyes of those who surrounded her. The next second, she
would be gone, perhaps forever. Now she stands, atop
the hill that held her so high above everything else.
Her mane and tail are tendrils of wrapped texture,
their long strands flowing perfectly upon her arched
neck, her tail escaping powerful haunches, leaving
nothing but a trail of white wherever she appeared.
Mounted atop her forehead were two round orbs, their
texture so diverse. It was as if they contained
nothing, and yet, as if they held so much, no one
could handle it. Their mahogany texture was mixed with
swirls of air blue. They were comprehensive, taking in
the earth as it came upon her, understanding every
element of her life as an equine. They watched as
others loved, as they died, as they hurt, as they
hated. Each iris watching, waiting, waiting for her
time to come in which she too would feel as others
felt. Until then, they would stay outside of that
world, simply observers. Her auditives placed so
neatly atop her forehead, forelock reaching out from
between them, stretching down across her ivory face.
Auditives spread over her poll, listening, attentive,
hearing the call of the wind, hearing the voices of
the land, and nothing more. Since her birth, since her
soul had begun its bright shine upon this worthy
earth, they had been masked from all true hearing,
taking away any voice that came to her from another
equine. She did not persist love, it could not serve
her any purpose, and it would only bring pain in the
end. Swelling inside of her was a sound that would
escape her, move over the hills and plains, fly
through all other dimensions. It bubbled inside of her
like acid, beginning in her heart, growing larger… it
takes position, before moving up her windpipe, growing
larger with each moment… escaping her now, breaking
the barrier that were her parched lips, flying out,
the call echoing over the horizon, a shockwave of
emotion… terror, sadness, joy, pain… to her, it was
everything, its power able to clear a meadow, but… in
reality, it was a simple whinny… a simple sound, and
no more… and so now, she must wait, either for an
answer to her call, or… to live alone, and to leave
the earth alone, her soul never having held, or
cherished the love she did not wish for....~

-The sun is setting over the vast horizon the giant
star of life licks the land one more time before
descending farther down, until it leaves behind
nothing but a dark, quiet earth. Everything is still
for a moment, not an animal scurries from hiding.
Suddenly, just over the horizon, a massive inferno
explodes, flames of amber and ruby dancing over the
land, seeming to burn away at everything in its wake,
yet this awesome auricle disturbs not a blade of
emerald grass, not a leaf upon the dew-coated meadow.
As it moves away from the horizon, the moon is able to
show what this massive ball of fire truly exposes to
the world… it is a mare, an ebony vixen whose entire
body is fabricated with fire. Hooves of pure onyx
ignite the ground upon which they walk for a second,
the flames extinguishing just as quickly as they came.
Her mane cascades over her neck, tiny wrappings of hot
magma, so intensified with heat that they, too, were
charred into blackness. Now she stops, surveying the
land, her orbs flashing wildly about, their untamed
expression watching the other equines with humour. The
depths of her rounded oculars exposed what could be
mistaken for the land of Hell, her orbs so full of
pain, so intensified with torture. A slight sneer
crosses her lips, face uncaring toward the other
equines. She had nothing to offer them, her heart
burned to a crisp blackness, a blackness that was then
covered in ice. Not a tear had been shed from her
stiffened face in all the time she had ignited the
earth. Now she waits beneath an almost fallen tree,
her heart watching the others as if they were nothing
more to her than subject, beings that walked the earth
for a moment, loved, hated, and died. She waits,
either to be approached by someone, a stallion who
thought he could win over her blackened heart, or,
until she could feel the hand of death upon her. Feel
its icy fingers take hold of her heart, and guide it
down the deep, dark path of the afterlife, the one
that to her, seemed so comforting, so much more
pleasing. Yet, both of these absolutions were so far
from her reaches, so very, very far away.....-
