~Three words... three
words.. the ones that meant everything to her heart...
the stallion spoke them.... they rushed past her, not
absorbed by her heart, by even her ears... those
words, those alien sounds.. how could she recognize
them? The held no meaning for her, for she did not
recognize them as a phrase... orbs lock with his, orbs
holding him like a glass figure, not wanting to waver,
for he might break... disappear from her.. lobes
absorb other words, the words he speaks of himself...
of her..... she gathers the thoughts to explain her
pure love for him.. they escape the barriers from her
lips, breaking free, forcing her lips to form the
sounds..... the sounds hold meaning to her when they
are spoken...~ Lovely stallion... feel no sorrow...
do not apologize for your words... for it is worth it,
if your words may allow me to respond with the emotion
I hold for you... ~Her breath finishes, and so do her
words... her mind gathers the response to his sounds
of question once more, nares taking in the oxygen
needed to expel her words once more to him...~ You
question my choice for you... it is of course
understandable... for I see now how your heart has
been broken...... my answer to you is as clear as the
tears that stain my cheeks... and yours...... I choose
your existence because to me... you are perfect....
others are blind to your handsome figure.... your
charming ways..... I choose not to persue other
stallions because they are nothing to you..... I wish
not for the kisses and roses that other stallions
would grant me, for your words are all I need. You
words can tell me of love in ways that materialistic
objects never could..... I wish.... I wish only for a
stallion like you..... ~She thinks over the words as
they ring in her lobes, their meaning not quite clear
to her....the thoughts twisted into one, unknown to
her if he could comprehend her words... though he
surely could~ I see clearly past the silver veil that
is placed over the eyes of those around you......
others may not see what I see.... I am not even sure
what it is that I see... but I do know that what I see
in you is more than what I could ever hope for....
~She stops her speech as her heart comprehends the
words he spoke to her... the unfamiliar phrase of
three simple sounds... "I love you..." The words rang
in her ear like a delicate bell. Eyes close for a
moment... she tumbles, her comprehension of the words
making her spin through darkness...... she looks into
his eyes, opening her eyelids to reveal a light within
ebony orbs that had never shone there before... the
stars of the sky could not compare to this light. Her
mind searches for the words to reply to his, though
how could any words compare to those he had spoken?
The words that formed the very basis of love... the
words that.. were love....? The simple words
of his now race to her lips, drawing themselves from
silken linings without air, pushing themselves
forward, not waiting for the femme to take in a
breath...~ I... I love you... Equinox.... ~She
speaks the words~ To yours my words are plain... they
do not hold the same meaning as those which you first
spoke but... I do.. I love you.... ~She presses her
lips lightly to his muzzle again for a moment, kissing
him, hoping that her soul could transfer to his, fill
his heart with the true meaning of her words... the
meaning that was hidden behind the repeated phrase..
she removes velvet boarders from his muzzle and once
again waits, her form so close to his handsome one...
so close to the one she truly did love...~
