He knows she will return, and so he waits... when her form melts out of the hovering shadows once more... he locks eyes with her, gold with mahogany... he smiles slightly, a joyful, peaceful smile... he wags his tail, turning in a circle as she had done... begins his descent toward her, levelling out against the terrain on which she stands, and after only a short while, the land which his paws rested upon also. His silhouette approaches her carefully, silently... he waits for her reaction... waits to see how she will react...*
