lol! I understand where you're coming from!

I just think that everyone needs to remember that this is a gossip board and that they're probably going to read things that they don't like, don't believe, and so forth. But that comes with the territory of a forum like this one. I don't believe every juicy bit of gossip about them, and take a lot of this stuff with a grain of salt. That is what this forum is all about, from my POV, and we should keep that in mind. My boyfriend, for instance, doesn't read any of these posts, mostly b/c he's a huge Leafs fan and doesn't want to believe that some of them may not be such all-stars off the ice, if you know what I mean.

Thus, he chooses not to come to a site like this. That's cool. I also don't share with him some of the little tidbits I know to be true, (based on what I have seen w/ my own eyes), which is also fine by me. I truly admire the players' skills and talent on the ice, but I also understand that they are people too, (and MEN, lol!), and aren't perfect. Acting like sh*theads is not entirely beyond some of them! They aren't superhuman. ;-)

As I said above, take some things w/ a grain of salt, but also keep the rose-coloured glasses away. Evaluate what you read and you can make your best judgement accordingly. Strike a balance between total belief and total denial based on the content of the posts, and we'll all be fine. It is only an anonymous Internet gossip board, after all! :P
