Is the official site for real or are they just pulling our legs to buy the CD's from that site? I just find it hard to believe a busy man such as David would sign every CD that is bought from that site! Why is it all the other CD's are $16 and up yet the new CD is only $12? I bet they add $10 shipping and handling lol. I'd rather purchase it from CD-Now anyways, at least I know it's a REAL Cd and not a burnt bootleg! If there's a problem I could get my money back or get another CD. Better yet I saw on the tour schedule that David will be signing CD's at Camelot Music in N.Myrtle Beach SC, the same day he's playing at the hous of blues. I think I'll just wait and get my CD there, at least then I'll KNOW David signed it and not someone just trying to sign like David. David always puts on a hell of a show at the house of blues anyways. Anyone with me on this?

I agree. I've bought a few cd's from a show and one sounds like pure crap and the other, the x-rated only 3 songs play, the rest are so low or you can't hear them at all. Very bad cd burning, very bad bootlegs. This is a very bad reflection on David, not as an artist but because he lets them get away with this shit! If he doesn't watch it these fuckers are gonna cause him a hell of a lot of financial troubles. Bootlegging copyrighted cd's for one, and ripping off the public for another. I love Dac and will still go to his shows, but I won't buy another cd from the stand again, EVER! Buy it from the stores people, save yourself the headache.

I just think it's a shame that people have to stoop to such levels to rip off the fans of David Allan Coe. I am a dear fan and my Father before me. I think if anyone gets a cd from the official site they should have it examined by an expert to see if it really is David Allan Coe's signature. If not, then sue the pants off them. Maybe, just maybe that will wake them up and let them know we aren't all sheep in a herd. If we hit them in the pocketbook it may open thier eyes.

Believe me, if Coe signed a load of cds there was something in it for him. The fact that you may have been a fan for years or lined his pocket by purchasing every cd or lp he ever released doesn't mean a damn to him. I personally have seen him snub hardcore fans as if they were dirt when there were as few as two individuals wanting a signature outside his bus. Give it a try yourself and see what I mean. If you are "privileged" enough to have him sign one item, he won't speak to you or much less look you in the eye. It's all about $ plain and simple. If a fan's $20 ticket purchase was contingent upon Coe showing he/she some respect it may be very different.

Allright people chill. Did you ever think that since the only site that's selling the autographed cd's is the official one that they might be able to get them signed by David. Someone brought a box of cd's to my dad's bus when he wasn't busy, and he sat down and signed them all. And when they run out of those I'm sure they'll either get more signed or say that they've run out of the autographed ones.

BOB I've never and I MEAN NEVER had a problem getting an autograph from DAVID. I've never been snubbed eitheir. In fact at one show David was standing in the parking lot I walked up to Him and we talked. I told him I had some lp covers in the car and asked if he would sign them He told me to go get them.He waited on me to get back and then as he wiped sweat he signed all 30 album covers.So don't lay that bull here that David won't sign autographs,it's all about respect.You show him respect and ask for an autograph and David will sign.Disrespect him and be sure you also will be disrespected.He has signed numerous pictures cds and albums for me.

i got ripped off 20 bucks ordering a t shirt thru the website.the stupid mother fuckers are so illiterate they cant read an orderform.i sent the shirt back and never heard from them again.they wont return calls at the customer service line.and the asshole at the order line says cant help.
