The Clash of the Titans
World Finals Rescheduled!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, The Clash of the Titans World Finals has been rescheduled for November 25th and 26th, 2005. The event will be run in its entirety. Due to the disaster of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, FEMA has locked all hotel rooms in the area, and although we have performed an exhaustive search for lodging for racers and spectators alike, there are no rooms available. We are being told the lock will be lifted by early November. We apologize for the inconvenience and we look forward to seeing everyone on November 25th and 26th, 2005.
Houston Raceway Park located in Baytown, TX will be the sight for The Clash of the Titans / Outlaw Street Car Nationals World Finals! Houston Raceway Park is well known for producing record-breaking passes both in Street competition and in NHRA national events. After 5 races it all boils down to the finals, which is the way it should be. The Clash of the Titans Drag Racing Series has seen several different winners in every class this season. This translates into a very tight points race with the top spots still in flux. These are the perfect conditions to see some real upsets, if point�s leaders get knocked out in the early rounds. If you are looking for the best that street legal drag racing has to offer with fields of 6-second, 200 mph Streetcars the 3rd Annual World Championship Finals are a "Must See". Race fans and racers better be ready to rock Houston Raceway Park, with Dr. Jamie Meyer at the mic it is sure to be a party to remember.

The Clash of the Titans/Outlaw Streetcar Nationals racing series wants everyone to leave the track feeling like they had the time of their life. To accomplish this goal we will have something for everyone. For the racing fan that likes fast cars, a full field of Outlaw 10.5 - 200 mph 6-second cars are anticipated. For the car show enthusiast, the Auto Show and Shine is a must see at every Clash event. For the gear head in all of us there is a vendor midway that show cases the latest in automotive performance parts. For the Bracket racers we have a huge Bracket race bonanza on Saturday and Finally, don�t forget about our very popular True Street class, which lets people with street legal cars get out off the streets and on to the track and compete in a controlled environment. Just in case you still want more, Team Interceptor and the worlds fastest police car will be on hand to light up the Houston night ski with their jet funny car full of flames and smoke. It is sure to make the ground shake and your heart skip a beat to complete an incredible mind blowing show!

The Beat the Heat Police officers from all over the state will also be on hand with their race cars giving street racers a chance to race them at the track and spreading a positive message about keeping street racing off the streets.
Make sure that you don�t miss the 3rd Annual The Clash of the Titans/Outlaw Streetcar Nationals World Finals. Don�t forget that you still have time to pick up discount tickets at any O�Reilly Auto Parts to save on crew passes, and spectator passes.
