Since it seems that no one has said anything for a while on our previous discussions, I can only come to the conclusion that those discussions have concluded for now. In light of this, I think that we should start making preliminary drafts of the items discussed. You know, something that can be criticized, torn apart, and eventually molded into something that we can all agree with. I'd be more than happy to write up a preliminary draft of ranks, which would be like a compilation of the things we discussed on that issue, but I need to collaborate with someone who knows SC/BW and D2 to write up the "Specialized Ranks" for those games. We also need specific suggestions for SC/BW,D2, and WC merits. Though I'm kinda guessing the the WC merits will be similar to the SC/BW merits in the sense that they are both strategy games and will just have to made up to fit each game for the most part, at least. But, in my opinion, that's where we stand on ranks and merits. Obviously, I'm no expert on SC/BW, so I'm not gonna get into those rules. But, perhaps something similar could be done with those. Then, I'm thinking that with those preliminary drafts we could post them and have each rule, rank, and merit voted on individually. Basically, just read through them, reply leaving the original text and write after each rule/rank/merit whether you agree or disagree. In this way, perhaps, we could determine what Camelot as a whole likes and dislikes. I know it seems time consuming to vote on each rule/rank/merit individually, but I think that we should be meticulous in our rebuilding process in order to have full confidence in a new system. Ok, that's all I've got for now, I'd love to hear what you think. =)
