First, let me introduce myself, I am Alex Workman, a student of Newman College, Birmingham, UK. I major in web study.
There are many ways of "hacking" Runescape or RS2. Runescape was poorly setup a few years ago on a weak database. Like I said, there are many ways of hacking Runescape. I, myself only know one, and I'll share it.
To successfully "hack" into Runescapes encrypted database, you must confuse the system by sending an email to Runescape's old system of recovering passwords. They no longer use email to recover passwords, as you probably know. Anyway, you send an email with the following perfectly the way I have it.

You send the email to this address: Jagex@xmsg.com
Subject: %%Passrecov#4522

Message:

Passwordrecov#557953908drecov%

(Here is the good stuff. depending on which of these you include, is what you will find on you account 48 hours later.)

At the end of the message, you will insert either a 1, 2, or 3. 1 being a random type of armour. 2 being a random type of weapon, or you can play it safe and use 3, which is anywhere between 100,000-1,000,000 GP. If you use any other number, you will not see a result. just use a 1, 2, or 3.

Here is an example.

Subject: %%Passrecov#4522
message: Passwordrecovery#557953908recov%
(skip a space and insert a 1, 2, or 3 here.)

If you do this correctly, you will see results.
