Subject: Re: how to house train my pom

I had the same problem with my pom, he's super small and I was getting up multiple times in the night taking him out, I was absolutely exhausted. I trained him with the purina dog litter, it is amazing. I wish I could take a video so you could see him use it, whenever he has to go, he just jumps in his pan and does his thing! I also took him outside and encouraged him to go out there too. So, if he's in the house and has to go, he uses his litter pan. If he's outside, he'll go there too so if you visit a friend you don't have to worry about him going in the house. Definitely give it a try. When I saw that he had to go, I would put him in the pan and make him go in there. Then I would praise him and give him a treat. I still maintained taking him out too, I recommend that because otherwise they will think it's bad to go outside.
