Oh lord no. I never felt that way at all. There were always many of us, always a group, and many who were more upfront with him. I could list a few people he'd probably recognize much easier than me, and I have no qualms about that at all.

It's not so much the feeling special thing for me either - it's cool when he does recognize you, stop by for a few comments offhand before he walks off to let the three of you continue your drinking on the couch (another trip of note *L*) - but at the end of the day, to me the guys have been much more ... cool and funny people who happen to entertain me on tv rather than tv personalities that must be treated as such at every moment - or hassled *L* I don't believe in either extreme.

If they were just tv celebrities, hey, cool and all - but it's because of the general good fun & cool people thing that I kept going back. Both from with the other people & with the contestants themselves.

Course, I know some people disagree and are more into the proper fan thing but what the hey, I've never been proper. ;)

Besides, it's more human to have good conversations with nice people then be all fan-ish, in my weird opinion - and really, which would you rather talk about, a tv show that's been expounded upon millions of times, or the difference between waiters at various restaurants (and I'm sure Colin agreed with me on the cute servers being better than the trainee servers anyday *G*).
