After Chip meets the girl in the pickup truck, he gets into the car and asks her to drive him to the hospital. Then everything kind of becomes a blur....all the colours get distorted (even more so than before) and you hear voices upon voices....at first, you can make out what he's saying (all I remember him saying was something about apologizing to his wife). Then more and more voices start talking, all of them completely indistinguishable and incomprehensible, all overlapping one another. Both Chip and the audience have a sensation of everything spinning out of control. Naturally, the girl, for the most part, looks terrified to have just picked up a babbling hitchhiker who obviously is not completely in touch with his senses. He says he does not think that he's going to make it. The screen blacks out. Then there's a big light in the center of the screen, a light surrounded by doctors. We hear a voice that says something like, "It's so beautiful" and then it blacks out again. When the picture comes back, Chip is lying in a hospital bed. He wakes up, turns his head, and sees the girl sitting in a chair. He thanks her, and tells her that she is a good driver. She says that she only just got her license last week. They laugh. She says that she called his wife and she was on the way. He thanks her. They smile.

The End.
