Subject: OT- "The Postman" named one of the worst movies of all time....

My boyfriend gets Maxim magazine. I don't care because I read Cosmo which is the female equivalent in terms of the sexual content.
Sometimes out of boredom we swap magazines just to see what there is but in his Maxim had a list of the 50 Worst movies of all time. Now keep in mind the magazine is geared towards younger men which is why there are no movies on the list made prior to 1970 and it makes a point to slam some classic chick flicks like Steel Magnolias and all three Meg Ryan love stories crammed into one. (When Harry Got Mail in Seattle)

Anyway some classic stinkers included....
Can't Stop the Music
Xanadu
Speed 2: Cruise Control
Little Nicky
Dune
Howard the Duck
Stayin Alive
The English Patient
Moulin Rouge
Armageddon (I hated this movie throughly)

Anyway coming in at #6 was Kevin Costner's post-apoclypic Horse riding epic, The Postman which he starred, co wrote and directed. He plays a wander in a future where all civilzation is destroyed and there's also a confused heroine who joins him. Wait, this is "Waterworld" on land with no drinking of urine (to quote Dana Carvey "if you pee into a Mr. Coffee you will not get Taster's Choice"). Well, at least Chip paid his rent that month. This was one of two Kevin Costner movies he has 15 minutes worth of screen time, then dies.

Honestly, I thought that was one of the better movie lists I've seen. I mean take out the chick flicks they slammed and you guys will say "yeah that was crappy." Most of them were big budget, super hyped movies that bombed but aren't those always the worst.
And just if you're curious, the #1 all time stinker movie was "Batman and Robin." Remember George Clooney as Batman, Arnold as Mr. Freeze and "Clueless" Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl.
