Subject: Lived in Bldg 5 1974-1981

Wow, can't believe I stumbled on this board. I lived in bldg 5 (5th flr) from '74-'81 (from age 2-9). Went to PS 251. Damn, the say Sadaam is bad, anybody ever have Mrs.C.R.Kearney for 2nd grade? Remember Cookie Lookie (the lady with the shopping cart), the house that caught on fire (circa 1979) on the corner of 54th and Flatlands, playing in the staircase (I remember one day seeing a homeless guy). Was one of those little kids that hung out in the playground beside bldg 5. Just wondered what happened to all those people who lived in building 5 during those years.
