I did a spontaneous search for Flatbush Terrace and stumbled on this message board. I grew up living in the same apartment in building 2 from 1967 to 1980. It was like living in a nutty little village tucked in the middle of Brooklyn, full of all of the prerequiste eccentrics and lunatics. Not the least of which was the aformentioned Mr. Pepitone, who I fought with for many years and the evil Mrs. Kearney from PS 251. Ah, memories. It would be nice if some more people came across this board as it was a very interesting time and place.
