Hey Shari - thnx for sharing your thoughts on Flatbush Sun and Swim and in particular.....my Grandfather (Mr P). I too have great memories of Labor Day at the pool and for me was always a day filled with mixed emotions....excited about he fun filled day but sad because it meant that I was going back to school in Long Island and leaving my fiends from Bklyn.....not sure if you recall....but I was a Long Island kid that only spent summers and long school breaks in Bklyn.......so Labor Day meant the end of the summer magic.

Wild that you remember me hanging out with Fred G. He was a good friend and full of character.....I have often wondered about him through the years since leaving Bklyn and would love to hook up with him to catch up on how things......any chance that you can reach out to Susan and relay my email address?? (scott.mcmahon@autotrader.com)

thnx again for sharing your memories and take care!
